Mr.Shiferaw Feyissa Balcha, Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer, Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU), Ethiopia After acquiring his MSc and BSc degree in Mathematics from Addis Ababa University, Dr. Balcha obtained his PhD degree in Applied Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee (IIT Roorkee). Dr. Balcha was Lecturer and Assistant Professor of applied mathematics for more than 20 years. In addition to his academic contribution, he also served as Dean for Community Service and Technology, Associate Dean for Research of Postgraduate Studies, and Dean at the faculty of Natural Sciences.
