Miguele Makari

Ms. Miguele Makari is a student of interior design at Lebanese University in her hometown Zgharta, in the North of Lebanon, a region destabilized by the influx of displaced Syrians. Ms. Makari has participated in a skills training on furniture production developed and delivered under the UNIDO-Japan Furniture Project, which has given her the opportunity to experience current furniture trends and state-of-the-art furniture production firsthand.
