Satoshi Kurimoto

Director, Technical Cooperation Division, Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (Japan)

Mr. Kurimoto has been recently nominated as Director of the Technical Cooperation Division at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan. He has served for METI and other government agencies for over twenty years. Before joining the Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau of METI, he worked at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as Energy Specialist from 2014 to 2017 mostly focusing on the implementation of renewable energy projects and adoption of smart grid technologies in developing countries.
