Ahmed Abtew

Minister of Industry, Government of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia

H.E. Mr. Ahmed Abtew is the Minister of Industry of the Government of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Minister Abtew has over 20 years of experience in high-level positions. He is the former Deputy Governor of the Amhara Regional State and former Head of the Bureau of Industry and Urban Development.

The Minister has also worked as Head of Finance and Economic Development, Trade Industry, Urban Development and other bureaus of the Ethiopian Government.
